そう言えば、元クォンタム・ファンドのジム・ロジャーズが、香港あるいはシンガポールへの移住を決めており、子供には中国人の家庭教師を付けているという記事を以前読んだことがあります。私の知っている中国人ビジネスマンはほとんど流暢な英語でコミュニケートできますが、日本人と付き合うなら日本語が出来た方が良いのと同様、中国人と付き合う場合は、中国語が出来た方が良いのも確かです。特に今後の中国の発展を考えると、英語だけではなく中国語も重要度は大きくなるのではないでしょうか。と、言いながら、中国語に関しては私も情けないという以前の状態ですが。
