米連銀は大方の予想通りFF金利を0.25%利上げしましたが、これで利上げは連続14回で金利は4.5%となりました。今回の声明で注目されているのは、

と言う下りですが、前回の声明ではこれは

となっており、今回は前回の議事録発表の時に予想された通り”measured”の文言が外れ、ここずっと続けてきた、ほとんどオートパイロットの”measured interest rate hike”がそろそろ終わりであるということが示唆されています。また、将来の利上げに関するスタンスも”likely”から”may be”と、よりソフトなものになっています。ただ、市場はもっとグニャグニャにソフトな文言を望んでいたようで、悪態ついてる人が結構いるみたいです。少なくともあと1回はあるという気はしますが・・・
